Stationary Compactors

Use these products for weekly volumes of more than 100 cubic yards of uncompacted dry waste materials. Select model based on a "feed (clear top) opening" that will accommodate the largest items being processed.

Self-Contained Compactors

Use these products for weekly volumes of more than 100 cubic yards of uncompacted wet or dry/ general waste materials. All models have a packer head permanently attached to the container.

Compaction Containers

Choose from our carefully designed Rectangular or Octagon roll-off compaction containers with five available sizes to meet your compaction requirements: 30, 40, 42, 43 and 47 cubic yards. The contoured end of the Octagon Compaction Container creates a rolling effect as solid waste is compressed into the container, filling all voids.

High Volume - Industrial Compactors

These models are particularly suited for weekly volumes of 500 cubic yards or more of industrial plant solid waste or recyclable materials or continuous feed applications. High volume waste generators and companies with large quantities of heavy wood crates, skids and drums require heavy duty compaction systems.

PreCrushers

Precrushers reduce heavy shipping crates and barrels to a fraction of their original bulk. Each stroke of the powerful ram crushes disposed material against a tough solid steel bulkhead at the end of the charging chamber. The bulkhead automatically lifts and the crushed material is forced into the receiving container.

Marathon's Vert-I-Pack® (VIP) and Untouchable VIP® compactors are ideal for applications where space for a compaction system is limited, the volume of wet waste does not justify a larger system, or a roll-off collection service is not available. These units are great for shopping plazas, restaurants, cafeterias, fast food locations, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and much more.

Compactor Options

Options include things such as container fullness measuring systems, usage measurement systems, cycle control systems, power pack options, odor control systems, hoppers, platforms & container guides, doghouses, security chutes, cart dumpers & tippers and steel options.

Vertical Balers

Marathon High Density Vertical Balers feature many innovations for ease of use and maintenance friendly access. Features such as the side-mounted power unit with submerged motor and pump, front facing panel box, redundant feed gate interlock system, all add up to a reliable baler for years of trouble-free recycling. The Smart Relay adds safety features, easy setup, and diagnostic capabilities to your baler. The motor and pump are submerged in the hydraulic fluid tank which offers much quieter operation.
Your baler can also be equipped with optional features that add even more efficiency and ease of use: Automatic bale ejector that activates when the door is opened; Wire Guides eliminate the need to go behind the baler for a complete front tie-off system; a Bale Made Light illuminates when a bale is made to notify the operator when it is time to eject the bale; an optional lockable electrical disconnect can be added for local Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
