Our existing Signature Series® Warranty, Compactor Warranty, and Auger Warranties have been combined into a new Compaction Solutions Warranty. The RJ-550 is a high-capacity, heavy-duty compactor, ideal for industrial and commercial applications where large volumes of solid waste are generated. Its rugged construction and large hydraulic power unit allow maximum compaction performance.
Transfer Station Applications
The RJ-550 is suitable for use in transfer stations receiving waste from residential collection vehicles used by municipalities and private contractors. A conveniently located RJ-550 transfer facility will eliminate the need for trips to the landfill by intermediate collection vehicles resulting in fuel, maintenance, and labor cost reductions.

- The sides are constructed of 1/4″ thick steel supported by 14 vertical angles with 1″ by 4″ bar running horizontally on each side of the charge box area for increased rigidity and strength.
- The tough 1″ by 8″ by 6″ angle breaker bar easily handles the beating of daily industrial trash.
- The RJ-550 can be fitted with a variety of material handling equipment such as chutes, hoppers, and dumpers. Cart dumpers can be custom built to your specifications to accommodate existing cart systems.

Solidly reinforced with 4″ I-beams throughout, the sturdy ram has a 1/2″ thick face plate, sides are constructed of 1/4″ thick steel supported by 14 vertical angles with 1″ by 4″ bar running horizontally on each side of the charge box area for increased rigidity and strength. The tough 1″ by 8″ by 6″ angle breaker bar easily handles the beating of daily industrial trash.
The RJ-550 can be fitted with a variety of material handling equipment such as chutes, hoppers, and dumpers. Cart dumpers can be custom built to your specifications to accommodate existing cart systems.

Equipped with an integral cart lifter, the RJ-550 offers an economical and safety-conscious solution for a wide variety of waste material handling applications.
Bayne® Thinline® cart lifters work with standard two-bar roll-out carts and can lift up to 750 lbs. Lifters have a durable, powder-coated finish that can stand up to the elements.
PERFECT FOR TIPPER-SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
The RJ-550 is the perfect choice for applications requiring a tipper system. These tippers can extend the benefits of compaction to all areas of operation while keeping equipment investments to a minimum. Carts or containers can be located at individual waste generation sites within the operation, and then emptied into the compactor with the cart-tipper option.
